YouTube Gaming is about to get a lot more serious with the launch of event pages in the coming weeks.
The pages will serve as a hub for any videos and commentary surrounding an event, and YouTube is starting with the biggest gaming event of all: E3. From the hub, you’ll be able to browse live streams or view new clips and trailers, chat with other gamers, or vote for your favorite trailers.

The idea is that instead of trying to browse through a mess of videos and streams, you’ll be able to go to one page and view all the E3 news you’re interested in, including the event’s biggest press conferences..
It certainly seems a much more elegant situation than the current set up, and we’d really like to see the feature come to non-gaming events as well. You can check out YouTube’s E3 hub at gaming.youtube.com/e3, starting Sunday, June 12.
