The lives of parents are riddled with questions, many of which go unanswered. It could be as simple as questioning whether or not a local coffee shop is cool with kids, or if a playground is as nice as it looks from a distance. To help make sense of it all, there’s now Winnie.
Winnie is essentially a social network for parents where they can share stories and tag locations as being kid (and parent!) friendly. Parents can note small details like whether or not a bathroom has changing tables, or if there is room for junior’s behemoth stroller.

Users can also tell stories about interesting interactions while at a location (I mean, maybe the barista isn’t creepy and really just likes kids; you’d probably want to know ahead of time), or simply share their small moments of triumphs.
Winnie has over 100,000 locations in the US, with more being added daily.
In a Medium post, Winnie CEO Sara Mauskopf says “we are building a platform for all parents — single parents, transgender parents, families with disabilities, parents on a budget — so that no one has to go on this journey alone.”
